The Gardens are gorgeous at any time of year, the fee for the workshop includes your entrance to the Gardens, so you will have a chance at the end of the day for a stroll, you could even have lunch in the range of facilities.

Courses & Dates

Valentines day Special 14th February
Hearts abound, scented with lavender for garlands and dainties.

Daffodils for St David's Day 21st February
An appliqué table runner in celebration of the day and spring, east to appliqué shapes for an inspired table decoration.

Welsh Tweed workshop 28th March
Not weaving but using this gorgeous fabric to make a shopping style bag lined and pocketed for a very professional finish.

Three dimensional fabric flowers 25th April
Great for corsages, or adoring bags, cushions and hats. Lovely old buttons and ribbons for extra wow.

William Morris inspired wall hanging 30th May
Appliqué techniques to reproduce a William Morris wallhanging, would also make a super cushion, easy to make and very stylish addition to any home.

Denim to Dye for! 27th June
Bring your old jeans for a totally original bag, add beads and embellishment for an one of original.

Mum and Daughter fabric fun 25th July
Make all manner of fabric flim flams, bags, table ware, covered buttons and jewellery.

Quilt in a day 26th September
Yes you can make a quilt in a day, you will need a basic sewing machine and we will use a stitch and cut technique, boy will you be impressed with yourself!

Welsh quilting 31st October
Using old quilts and the gardens as inspiration we will make a cushion cover stitched and quilted with a love of all things Welsh.

All workshops are on a Sunday and run from 11am - 4pm.
